Papers: of the Fontaine-Maury Society, 1910-1990 bulk (1975-1990) [manuscript].

The collection contains archives of the society particularly correspondence, articles and research notes re family ancestors, genealogy, society memberships and maintenance of the Beaverdam Graveyard in Hanover County. There are minutes of some meetings, a scrapbook of a 1987 trip to La Rochelle, obituaries of Fontaine family members, and notes on the Meade family. The collection also contains newsclippings, 1910-1930, of Lila Meade Valentine on women suffrage.
